Hot chocolate infused with porcini mushrooms

March 2, 2014

For the past few weeks, my kitchen has been invaded by Super Sec products . You know, this Belgian brand that offers dried products, with an ultra concentrated taste and super easy to cook. During my research on this brand, I came across the “Winter Spores” competition organized in collaboration with the website cuisicook.be . At the end of the day, a ” Very good porcini mushroom ” box .

Rules of the game: create a recipe on the theme of winter sports with a maximum of ten ingredients and a minimum of one mushroom.

And what could be simpler and more comforting than a delicious hot chocolate after a day on the slopes?

Hot chocolate infused with porcini mushrooms

  • 2 persons
  • 500 ml of fresh whole milk, raw if possible
  • 2 teaspoons of powdered sugar
  • 4 teaspoons of unsweetened cocoa
  • 5 or 6 pieces of dried SuperSec porcini mushrooms
  • Take 2 cups, in each cup drop 2 teaspoons of cocoa, add a little cold milk and mix until you get a smooth paste.

Pour the rest of the milk in a small saucepan with the sugar and the pieces of porcini mushrooms. Heat over very low heat for about ten minutes. When the milk is hot, pour into the cups. Mix well so that the cocoa dissolves completely and enjoy.
