Coltsfoot
Coltsfoot (Tussilago farfara) is a perennial plant whose flowers, the first flowers of spring, bloom before the leaves. The flowers have a pleasant aromatic flavour. A brew of coltsfoot, one teaspoon of tea in hot water for 10 min, is light and becomes a beautiful apple green colour. It is delicious with a touch of honey. Coltsfoot has been used since ancient times as a remedy for lung ailments. This is what gave coltsfoot its latin name tussis, cough and ago, suppressant. Our product has been picked directly from Nature by teams of Wild Gaspé pickers, during the first sunny days of spring, once the flowers have opened into a beautiful yellow. The flowers are then directly dried after being picked. A simply wild product !

Wild mint
We count in Quebec at least thirty different species of mint. This wild mint is the most aromatic species, found in summer on the banks of rivers and lakes, its distinctive fragrance is easily recognized. We use it mainly for infusion and its digestive and stimulating properties are renowned. Our wild mint is hand-harvested at the beginning of summer, along the rivers of the Gaspé peninsula. Only the young shoots, rich in essential oils, are collected. The method of harvest helps perpetuate the plants. Air dried. Simply wild !
